Project Overview

The Mustard Seed Project is a vital non-profit dedicated to transforming lives in Upper Egypt by providing free, high-quality education and comprehensive support to underprivileged children and their mothers. Their work addresses critical challenges like poor educational standards, lack of resources, and limited opportunities.

To communicate their mission, showcase their impact, and connect with supporters and volunteers, they required a professional online presence. My role was the WordPress implementation, bringing the thoughtful, user-centric UX/UI design — created by the talented Maria Wageeh — to life.

Project Objective

The primary objective was to develop a fully functional, responsive, easy-to-navigate WordPress website based on the provided designs, to:

• Faithfully translate the visual and interactive elements into a live website.
• Clearly present the mission, vision, activities, and impact.
• Create distinct sections for different aspects of their work (About, Impact, School System, Support).
• Facilitate engagement through clear calls-to-action for volunteering, donations, and contact.

• Multi-page structure — Distinct pages for Home, About Us, Our Work & Impact, School System, and Support & Contact.
• Content integration — Provided text, high-quality images, and galleries showcasing activities and beneficiaries.
• Impact & results display — Statistics, success metrics (like pass rates), and compelling testimonials including video embeds.
• Detailed program information — Structured layouts explaining the educational approach, curriculum, and support programs.
• Call-to-action integration — Clear paths for volunteering, donations (Give/Pray), and contact (Email, WhatsApp).
• Supporter & partner recognition — Logos and information about supporting organizations.
• Responsive design — Correct display across desktops, tablets, and mobiles.
